Being passionate about DevOps and automation, I have had over 3 years of experience as a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer. My journey began with a deep interest in Linux system administration, where I learned to automate system tasks using shell scripting and maintain system security. This has led me to design and manage CI/CD pipelines toward getting the best out of tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, among others, during the pipeline creation. Among my latest achievements is orchestrating Kubernetes clusters, including AKS and EKS, and deploying microservices that have boosted the system's scalability and resiliency. I have experience on a number of cloud platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud, Linode, and Azure. This helps me in crafting strong solutions on the cloud that are perfectly tuned for individual needs. Most excitingly about DevOps is its ever-evolving space; one gets to learn and implement new technologies. For instance, incorporating Slack for pipeline notifications and health checks improved our incident management to the next level, with real-time alerts that inculcate a proactive approach toward ensuring system reliability. This is where my personal skills in automation with Ansible and Terraform, paired with a knack for scripting in Python, set me apart in the continued optimization of processes where others struggle. Be it the management of logs and alerts by Prometheus or configuring NGINX for server and container deployments, I have the all-round skills in a manner that ensures operations are done effectively and securely. I look forward to enhancing the reliability of systems in the project and streamlining the associated operations. With that, always looking for new ways to improve and automate, I am thrilled with the prospects ahead, continuing with this fantastic journey of DevOps and all around, bringing my passion into new challenges and opportunities.
