I began my DevOps journey as an Associate DevOps Engineer at Reservation Gateway in Sri Lanka, where I transitioned from a Linux Administrator role. At Reservation Gateway, I was involved in a hotel reservation project where I effectively utilized AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Nagios, and Jenkins to streamline operations and improve efficiency. After gaining valuable experience, I joined Arimac Lanka as a DevOps Engineer, where I was subsequently promoted to Senior DevOps Engineer. At Arimac, I had the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in the Aviation, FinTech, and Agriculture sectors. My role involved leveraging a variety of tools and platforms, including AWS, Azure, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps, to deliver robust and scalable solutions. With a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, I am dedicated to driving innovation and efficiency in every project I undertake.
