As a DevOps Engineer, my journey began with a strong foundation in Linux administration and cloud engineering, eventually evolving into a specialization in DevOps practices. My DevOps Origin Story Starting as a Linux System Administrator at Techblue Software Pvt. Ltd., I managed over 150 IT support tickets, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of Linux systems. This role honed my troubleshooting skills and introduced me to automation tools like Ansible, which significantly increased productivity and reduced human error. Recent Accomplishment One of my notable projects was at Park+, where I designed and implemented CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. This accelerated our software delivery processes and reduced deployment times. Additionally, I developed infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible, automating infrastructure management and reducing manual errors. Managing and scaling cloud-based infrastructure on AWS and GCP allowed us to optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency. New Learnings in DevOps In my current role, I engineered Kubernetes ingress controllers with Kong on GKE, which optimized traffic management and enhanced application performance. This experience deepened my understanding of Kubernetes and its ecosystem, particularly in managing large-scale deployments. Passion in DevOps I am passionate about automation and continuous improvement. Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Grafana and Prometheus has been incredibly rewarding.
