My origin I was introduced to the field of Cloud DevOps back in 2020! I was a part of a highly dynamic GCP Cloud Infrastructure team at HSBC. I spent an amazing 2 years there where my roles ranged from setting up external connectivity for projects, adding custom roles, using terraform and working on CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins! I recently graduated with my masters degree from NCSU. During my graduation and even now I am affiliated with Colorcon where I was a part of the team that built their entire new CI/CD suite using Jenkins. This project saves the organization considerable amount of subscription fees for using a third party application to move their code and saves close to 10 hours of time/week for the DBA team. I continue to build new pipelines for Colorcon, this time to automate the deployments of Python based applications and work as a software engineer as well to help with some backend related code changes! I recently obtained the AWS certified Developer Associate certification, where my purpose to get a Developer oriented view of the cloud! This will also serve as a base for me to obtain the DevOps engineer speciality! A project I am proud of I worked on developing a traditional server oriented AWS based architecture for a banking application and deployed its needed resources via Terraform and GitHub actions! Not only DevOps but this project gave me a perspective into essential trade offs we make in cloud computing. I love DevOps for the complete lifecycle work and the mindset philosophy associated with it. It took me a while to appreciate the importance of DevOps engineers but realized that as they manage the lifecycle they need to be proficient in both networking and software development (Scripting) which is something that takes deployment speed, error management and collaboration to the next growth phase for the firm! I want to be a part of this phase to go from 1x to 10x! My passion lies in building CI/CD pipelines, working in Terraform, Docker and unleashing the power of Cloud! Contact : anujchetwani@gmail.com
