I started my devops journey while I was student doing my bachelors in India. I started learning the software delivery process along with developing applications in java. Then I can became curious and started learing about AWS cloud and hosting apps on the servers. Then I continuted my journey by taking up a job in sweden in 2016 and then it continued in my futher roles too. A Recent DevOps Project or Accomplishment Recently, a notable project involved developing multiple microservices in NodeJS and hosting them on Kubernetes clusters with pub/sub architecture. This project significantly improved deployment times and application scalability, allowing for more frequent updates without downtime. The project involved setting up CI/CD pipelines with github actions, containerizing applications using Docker, and orchestrating services with Kubernetes. Something New I Learned in the DevOps Field I recently delved into GitOps, which involves using Git as the single source of truth for infrastructure and application code. By integrating tools like Argo CD, it's possible to manage and deploy applications automatically based on changes in the Git repository, ensuring consistency and reliability in deployments. What I'm Passionate About in DevOps I'm passionate about automation and continuous improvement. The ability to automate repetitive tasks not only saves time but also reduces errors, leading to more reliable and efficient systems. Continuous improvement is about always seeking ways to enhance processes, tools, and workflows to achieve better performance and outcomes.
