Recently I have learnt about Istio service mesh. Istio are basically used in production environments where we want to divide traffic especially. I have deployed an application using jenkins to eks. I used trivy, sonarqube, quality gate, owasp for dependency check, docker for building and pushing the image which triggers my second pipeline where I had my argocd istio setup. Istio deployments consists of virtualservice, destination and gateway files where routing parameters are defined.
