Professional Journey: Starting as a data center engineer (4 yrs), I gained a solid foundation in basic IT infrastructure operations and upskilled through industry experiences and various certifications in storage, security, and networking. This progression led to my role as a cloud engineer(2 yrs) at a cloud provider organization, where I learned and implemented cloud infrastructure and services, building core expertise. With continuous learning, I then secured a position as Assistant Manager of Cloud Infrastructure(1 yr) at a telecommunications provider, capitalizing on my automation and security skills. These experiences paved the way for a cloud(1.5 yr) and DevSecOps(1 yr+) role at a leading essential intelligence organization. Realizing the need for smoother, more efficient workflows, I embraced DevOps principles, focusing on continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) to streamline processes. A recent DevOps project: A major project achievement of mine was leading the migration of Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, and GitHub Enterprise Server to a unified platform on GitHub Cloud. This consolidation streamlined our CI/CD processes, improved collaboration, and reduced maintenance overhead. Continuous Learning in DevOps: Recently, I delved into the field of observability and end-to-end tracing of user requests. This new knowledge has allowed me to gain deeper insights into system performance and user behavior, helping to identify and resolve issues more efficiently.
