My foray into DevOps began with a desire to streamline the software development process. Witnessing the challenges of manual deployments at Consim sparked a passion for automation and efficiency. I've built reusable modules to automate infrastructure provisioning, ensuring consistency and reducing redundancy. My expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration enables me to seamlessly deploy and manage microservices across different environments. Championing Security and Efficiency: Security is a core tenet of my DevOps philosophy. Being a Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), I've implemented tools like Gatekeeper and Trivy to enforce security best practices within Kubernetes clusters. Additionally, I'm passionate about optimizing infrastructure costs. I recently developed a dashboard to visualize infrastructure spending, allowing for data-driven decision making. Beyond the Technical Expertise: Beyond technical proficiency, I value clear communication and collaboration. At Celigo, I led the team in implementing GitOps practices, fostering a culture of shared ownership and transparency. My ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable plans enables me to work effectively with teams across all levels. A Continuous Learner in a Dynamic Field: The DevOps landscape is constantly evolving, and I embrace the challenge of staying ahead of the curve. I'm a language-agnostic coder, readily adapting to new technologies. Recently, I customised Istio configurations to adopt WebSockets, demonstrating my adaptability and willingness to learn.
