I started as a DevOps around 2015 working for GE, I was working mainly with PowerShell and Jenkins to automate and deploy GE apps on Windows Servers (on-prem). Then in the last year or so (I worked for GE for ~4 years) I also started dabbling with Docker, Terraform, AWS. The next years I tried on each project to at least learn one tool from the DevOps toolbox, for example, i knew Windows, so i started learning Linux, then some Ansible, Terraform, Docker, a bit of K8s. Around 2020 I started focusing mostly on the Cloud, i started with Azure, then later i learn some AWS too. On my last project i implemented from scratch IaC with Terraform and Terragrunt, and also created infra pipelines. I implemented CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps. I started learning DevOps because i really to automate stuff.
