I began my DevOps career after earning a Master's degree in Computer Science from California State University Fullerton, where I took courses in Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity. My first role was at Ericsson as a Telecom Engineer, where I developed skills in network performance optimization and troubleshooting. This foundation paved the way for my subsequent roles in cloud and DevOps engineering. Recently, I led the DevOps efforts for the MYCASH application at Verizon. My role involved developing reusable Terraform modules, implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, and managing containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). This project enhanced automation and streamlined the deployment process across multiple environments. I have recently gained deeper insights into Terraform state management, which has significantly improved my ability to automate infrastructure deployments and manage configuration changes efficiently. Additionally, I have enhanced my skills in using monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Grafana for comprehensive system monitoring. I am passionate about automation and improving deployment efficiencies. The ability to streamline processes using tools like Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Kubernetes excites me. I enjoy seeing the tangible impact of these technologies in reducing manual intervention and increasing the reliability and speed of deployments. My extensive experience in managing full-scale migrations and hybrid cloud environments sets me apart. I have a proven track record of transitioning complex infrastructures from on-premises to cloud, ensuring governance, risk, and compliance.
