As a DevOps engineer with around five years of experience, my journey began from a strong foundation in software development, which evolved into a passion for automation and infrastructure management. My expertise spans various cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, and I am well-versed in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Chef, Ansible, and Docker. One of my recent notable accomplishments was at RBC, where I successfully led a project to decompose monolithic applications into scalable, loosely coupled microservices, enhancing the software delivery pipeline and fostering a culture of automation and collaboration. In the past year, I have deepened my knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker, developing a CI/CD system that utilizes these technologies to build, test, and deploy applications in a containerized environment. This experience has been invaluable, particularly in understanding container orchestration and the benefits of immutable infrastructure. I am passionate about automating repetitive tasks and streamlining deployment processes to reduce manual intervention and ensure consistency and reliability. My proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, and Bash, coupled with my experience in cloud platforms and infrastructure automation, enables me to create robust CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructures, and implement effective configuration management solutions.
