Started as System Administrator and while working one of the project came across cool tech Docker and Jenkins and after learning the tools and implemented got fascinated with DevOps and trantioned myself to DevOps Engineer, learning different tools and tech K8, terraform, multiple CI/CD tools for the automated build and deploy. Migrated critical application to container based environments which results in cost savings and cutting down the release time by 30%. Which helped developers to focus more on the other areas while waiting for the release to happen itself and receive automated feedback.
