My Journey as a DevOps Engineer I started my journey as the IT guy, trying to get to a developer position. Along the way, my passion for automation and optimization led me to automate everything in sight. Without noticing, I evolved into a DevOps engineer with developer side projects. Over the past 8 years, I've had the opportunity to work with various technologies and tools, continuously improving my skills and knowledge in the field. Highlights from My Career Infrastructure Automation I've designed, deployed, and maintained large-scale infrastructures using modern technologies like Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. My focus has always been on enhancing system performance, reliability, and security. I developed containerized self-hosted agents farms and implemented ArgoCD application patterns to streamline continuous deployments. Cloud Expertise My experience spans multiple cloud environments, particularly Azure, where I have optimized infrastructure for performance and security. I have automated resource management and implemented robust monitoring and alerting solutions with tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Scripting and GitOps I'm proficient in scripting with Python, Bash, and PowerShell, and have a solid understanding of GitOps practices. My ability to automate processes has led to significant improvements in operational efficiency. For instance, I developed a secure self-service password reset platform, enhancing system security and user experience. What Drives Me? I like to make things easier for everyone, including myself. My goal is to simplify processes so we can work smarter, not harder. Whether it's automating repetitive tasks or streamlining complex workflows, I believe in creating efficient systems that allow us to focus on developing better solutions.
