As a DevOps Engineer, I'm passionate about building bridges between development and operations. My journey began at Gebeya, where I honed my skills in essential DevOps tools like Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker, GitLab CI, Prometheus, and Agile methodologies. At Safaricom, I put my knowledge to work, deploying not only microservices in Springboot and Python across different projects, but also actively contributing to the deployment of Big Data technologies. I have experience working with HBase, NiFi, Kafka, and others allowing me to build and manage robust data pipelines for large-scale data processing. This experience solidified my understanding of CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and the unique challenges of Big Data deployments.
