My journey into DevOps began 3.8 years ago in Tata Consultancy Services . I noticed that there were significant gaps between our development and operations teams, leading to inefficiencies and delays. Motivated to bridge this gap, I started learning about DevOps principles, tools, and practices. My first project involved automating our CI/CD pipeline, which drastically improved our deployment times and reduced errors. This success fueled my passion for DevOps and set me on the path to where I am today. A Recent DevOps Project or Accomplishment Recently, I led a project to implement Kubernetes for container orchestration in our production environment. The goal was to enhance our application scalability and reliability. I designed and deployed a Kubernetes cluster, integrated it with our existing CI/CD pipeline, and ensured seamless monitoring and logging using tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Something New You Learned in the DevOps Field One of the latest technologies I've explored is GitOps, a methodology for continuous deployment. I learned how to leverage tools like ArgoCD to manage our Kubernetes deployments declaratively. This approach not only improved our deployment speed but also enhanced the visibility and traceability of changes, making our operations more predictable and reliable.
