PROJECTS: Cloud Cost Optimization — AWS: Implemented Lambda function that fetches all EBS snapshots owned by the same account ('self') and also retrieves a list of active EC2 instances (running and stopped). For each snapshot, it checks if the associated volume (if exists) is not associated with any active instance. If it finds a stale snapshot, it deletes it, effectively optimizing storage costs Kubernetes Cluster Setup and Microservices Deployment — EKS: Deployed a microservice application by creating a cluster with Fargate and utilizing replicas in deployment to ensure auto-healing and ease of auto-scaling, configured application load balancer then exposed the application to the outside world through an external IP. Reddit Clone Deployment — K8s: Cloned Reddit clone repo, created Docker image, pushed to DockerHub, and deployed with Kubernetes. Configured deployment manifest, service.yaml, and Ingress for Reddit clone application. Checked Ingress status, set up port forwarding, and ensured proper security group settings. Accessed deployed Reddit clone app via EC2 instance IP on port 3000.
