With the encouragement and support of my friends, I decided to pursue a career in DevOps, drawn by the opportunity to architect and design complex cloud infrastructure. Something new you learned in the DevOps field: Starting as a Junior DevOps Engineer at Robert Bosch, I quickly learned that DevOps extends beyond the cloud. The framework’s close connection to Agile methodologies helped me develop skills in multitasking, prioritizing workloads, identifying issues, and troubleshooting them on the go. A recent DevOps project or accomplishment: One of my most notable recent projects involved automating the CI/CD process for mobile application deployments. During this project, I learned Fastlane and Match, frameworks written in Golang, which streamlined our deployment process. Additionally, I delved into BI tools like Looker, Looker Studio, and Cloudability, which allowed me to analyze cloud environment costs effectively. This analysis led to significant cost savings of $8,000 per month in our infrastructure. Lately, I have been focused on enhancing my Golang skills, as automation often requires proficiency in coding, particularly in Go or Python.
