My journey as a DevOps engineer began with a fascination for systems and a passion for automation. Starting at Fourth, I quickly embraced cloud technologies and automation tools, leading to significant roles like my recent position at Calastone. There, I played a pivotal role in maintaining our Azure Hub and Spoke infrastructure using Terraform, AKS, and Helm Charts. This not only enhanced deployment efficiency but also improved system scalability and reliability. Additionally, my experience with monitoring tools like DataDog ensured our systems remained performant and reliable across various workstreams. What excites me most about DevOps is working at the intersection of code and infrastructure. My passion lies in working with automated, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems that exceed business requirements. My experience in Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, enables me to tackle challenges efficiently. With experience in Azure cloud platform as well as AWS and strong problem-solving skills, I proactively identify and mitigate potential issues, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
