I was considering to start a career in programming when I was in college and was looking for material online, then I stumbled upon the term devops engineer which was pretty exciting to me because I found it more intriguing than the normal operations role or the developer role, the best of both words, that I can move forward with a mindset of troubleshooting and learning new tools each day, I work now as a DevOps Engineer in a respected company and worked on major projects like "Digital Egypt" and my role as a devops engineer consists of building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring with grafana and prometheus, logging with elk stack, SSO systems, database administration and clustering .... etc I also maintain a mindset of optimism and determination to solve problems when troubleshooting, which I think is a core quality that makes a good DevOps Engineer. I want to bolish my skills as I go, learning new fields and tools to be able to handle any type and quantity of tasks that get sent my way.
