As a DevOps engineer, my journey has been a blend of curiosity, continuous learning, and hands-on experience. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on diverse projects. I introduced DevOps practices to my last company; there was no DevOps before I joined. I automated and streamlined the complete process of deploying applications to the cloud, significantly reducing deployment time from 3 days to 4 hours. I developed Jenkins pipelines and shared libraries from scratch to deploy Java, React, and Python applications, enabling continuous deployments and eliminating manual intervention. I was also responsible for creating and managing cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS using Terraform and Ansible. I implemented auto-scaling and load balancing, enhancing the scalability of infrastructure and reducing downtime. I love writing scripts and APIs in Python to automate repetitive processes, enhancing operational efficiency.
