0About
After almost 13 years, developing sites with PHP and various frameworks and tools, and managing my own dedicated servers for my clients and hosting resellers, I acquired knowledge about Linux (mostly Ubuntu), mysql, postgresql, docker, Volumes, among other things. Then in the company where I worked as a fullstack with PHP and Angularjs, they began to ask me for server administration things, creating new instances, configuring them, backups, specific reports, and process automation using Python and bash. and that's how I became a DevOps engineer. After that, I was able to perform as the Lead of the DevOps team in the same company and we started using Bluemix (IBM cloud), using Cloud foundry, Kubernetes, MongoDB Atlas, CircleCI, and CouncourseCI as CI/CD tools, Github, bash and python to automate some process. Currently I was able to work as DevOps Engineer for almost 3 years now. with tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, Kubernetes, Rancher, Vault, Nomad, Consul, Datadog and many other tools.
