As a passionate DevOps engineer, my journey began with a solid foundation in IT support and escalated into the dynamic realm of cloud and DevOps engineering. Graduating with a Bachelor of Computers & Information from Menofia University, my fascination with cloud technologies and automation led me to pursue extensive professional training and certifications, including three AWS certifications and a Kubernetes Administrator certification. My recent role as a Cloud DevOps Engineer at _VOIS “Vodafone Intelligent Solutions” in Cairo has been particularly rewarding. Here, I manage the production environment for millions of users in the German market, ensuring the availability and stability of the Mein Vodafone App on AWS-hosted Kubernetes clusters. One of my proudest achievements includes designing and deploying complex monitoring solutions using Grafana, AWS, Prometheus, and Kibana, which have significantly enhanced our infrastructure's reliability. Before joining _VOIS, I worked at Algo - Cloud Advanced Solutions, where I successfully led the migration of on-premises workloads to AWS, employing services like IAM, EC2, S3, and RDS, among others. This experience honed my skills in designing and implementing Terraform scripts, optimizing infrastructure deployment, and collaborating with AI and ML teams to create innovative solutions using AWS services like SageMaker and Lex. Throughout my career, I have been driven by a passion for continuous learning and improvement. For instance, I recently completed a 4-month intensive Code Camp at the Information Technology Institute (ITI) in Smart Village, focusing on advanced DevOps practices including Red Hat Administration, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins. This training solidified my expertise and equipped me with cutting-edge skills in cloud security and automation. What sets me apart in the DevOps field is my ability to seamlessly integrate with development teams and drive projects to successful completion. My unique skill set, ranging from Python and Bash scripting to advanced knowledge of AWS and GCP, allows me to tackle complex challenges and deliver scalable, resilient solutions. I'm particularly passionate about leveraging DevOps to enhance organizational efficiency and security, ensuring robust and reliable cloud infrastructures.
