I started out as a developer around 20 years ago, and always enjoyed it. However when the cloud started to gain traction about 7 years ago I made the transition into Cloud Architecture and DevOps and have been enjoying it ever since. The Cloud has enabled organizations of any size to test many different types of technology without having such a huge financial commitment, this in turn enables faster product development and faster release cycles.
