0About
I'm Eashan Roy, a Masters student pursuing Software Engineering at Northeastern University with expected graduation date in May, 2025. My concentration is Network Structures and Cloud Computing, Linux and Unix Systems Management, Full stack Web developement. [ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR INTERNSHIPS] Prior to joining Northeastern, I had 2.5 years of work experience working as a Cloud DevOps and Backend Engineer. Throughout my professional journey, notably as a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer at Infosys, I honed my skills in designing and managing robust AWS application infrastructures and automating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. These experiences are complemented by my hands-on work with IT systems administration, where I led a team to optimize cloud resources, saving the organization significant costs, and improving system efficiency by implementing advanced monitoring with New Relic and CloudWatch. My technical skills are broad and include profound competencies in managing distributed computing infrastructures. At Infosys, I was instrumental in deploying scalable cloud solutions and automating processes that enhanced performance metrics across various platforms. This role required deep analytical skills and a dynamic approach to problem-solving, qualities that I have developed through both my professional experience and academic studies. Moreover, my project work further exemplifies my capabilities in this field. For instance, I designed and implemented a highly scalable web application using Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and GCP, which included setting up Cloud DNS, Cloud Storage, and Compute Engine, optimized with a Packer-built custom AMI. This project not only sharpened my technical skills but also enriched my ability to manage and execute complex projects from conception through to completion.
