In the rapidly evolving sphere of cloud technologies and DevOps practices, I have cultivated a robust expertise with an emphasis on AWS and Azure public clouds. My journey began with the architectural design and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions, which propelled me into the forefront of cloud-native deployments. One of my initial landmark projects involved designing an IaC solution to automate the provisioning of EKS clusters on AWS. Utilizing AWS Python APIs, I meticulously tailored the infrastructure to support scalable and efficient application deployments. This project not only sharpened my skills in AWS but also deepened my understanding of container orchestration. Expanding my horizons to include private cloud technologies, I spearheaded another pivotal project using Terraform and Ansible. Here, I architected IaC solutions for Kubernetes clusters on private clouds such as OpenStack and VMware. This initiative enabled seamless application deployments across more controlled environments, illustrating my versatility across cloud platforms. My proficiency extends into the realm of CI/CD pipelines, having designed and implemented several using Jenkins Pipeline, GitHub Workflow, and AWS Code Pipeline. These experiences underscore my capability to enhance development workflows, thereby accelerating product time-to-market while ensuring robustness and reliability. A notable achievement in my career was the development of a comprehensive disaster recovery solution utilizing Velero and Minio within Kubernetes environments. This not only safeguarded critical data but also ensured business continuity across services. Further demonstrating my technical acumen, I have hands-on experience in building and managing Kubernetes clusters across various public clouds including AKS, EKS, and GKE. My projects often involve deploying cloud-native applications, setting up intricate CI/CD pipelines for microservices, and developing automated backup and restore solutions using Ansible. My scripting prowess is evident in my ability to create advanced shell and Python scripts, which facilitate automated installations, cluster configurations, and routine maintenance tasks such as auto-cleanup of disk space on build servers. In addition to my technical skills, I am a keen advocate for knowledge sharing, having conducted numerous technical trainings on a range of cloud technologies. These sessions span AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VSphere, VCenter, and Openstack, and are aimed at upskilling teams across development, integration, and testing disciplines. I am also experienced with VMware’s advanced features, such as VMotion and VSphere Replication, which further cements my reputation as an expert in both public and private cloud environments. My extensive experience and dynamic skill set in DevOps and cloud infrastructure management highlight my commitment to leveraging technology to solve complex problems and drive business success.
