Dear Sir/Madam, DevOps has been the language I speak for a little more than 2 years now. I am versed with managing IaaS, PaaS, SaaS plus AWS resources. My last job was at Haufe-Lexware Services with which I got my certification as an AWS Certified Developer – Associate. I have specifically learnt a few more AWS services like CloudFormation for Infrastructure as code. Configuring nginx container to proxy requests to google tag manager container from an ALB. I have worked at Etech Consulting LLC. where I manage and maintain clusters, configure CI/CD pipeline making sure the right plugins are used. I work hand in hand with a team of SRE, junior and senior DevOps Engineers and Developers to realize a common goal according to our company SLA with clients. I receive tickets on a sprint of 2 weeks depending on projects at hand to run queries on our pipeline and databases. After we define our quality gate and quality profile in a meeting with other colleagues, I make sure I configure the pipeline based on the outcome of the meeting. I configure Role and RoleBinding K8s objects in RBAC to make sure our Developers have the right access to their deployments and does insight maintenance of our k8s clusters by patching as well as running my Ansible playbook to patch our entire OS. Every day when I sign in to work, I monitor my channel because we are project based. I monitor our infrastructure and the pipeline using Prometheus and Grafana. If something goes wrong, our slack channel is there for getting tasks and then after, I get to work with other engineers and make sure we resolve problems within the sprint time. Etech Consulting has exposed me to many tools and modules in software development that has greatly improved my hands-on skills. Nevertheless, I have always been passionate about IT before joining Etech Consulting. I started this journey as a data analyst in business consultancy in shanghai where I was responsible to oversee the functioning of multiple systems computing employee data and report to the technical team should anything go wrong with any of those systems. I have had the opportunity of working closely with System Engineers each time I transfer an issue to their department. What really captured my attention is the way they troubleshoot the systems and get things done within no time, it’s so fascinating that I began gaining interest in working with such people. It will be of great honor for me to add value to your organization.
