Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a DevOps Intern to join their Agile team in Montréal, QC. This role involves developing and maintaining Java-based applications, collaborating with technical managers and architects, and researching new technologies. The intern will gain hands-on experience with various technologies and contribute to tools supporting the R&D community.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (2nd or 3rd year), or enrolled in a Master's degree
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills

  • Basic knowledge of Python
  • Bilingual French and English is required

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and software
  • Code, test, debug, and collaborate with teams to ensure efficient and scalable software solutions
  • Develop and debug software tools for developers, including web-based tools, log analysis tools, debug tools, and software management tools
  • Stay current with advancements in software development, cloud technologies, and data engineering best practices
  • Collaborate with Technical Managers and Senior Data Architects to translate architectural designs into functional scope and code
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to improve the product portfolio
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Architects to define requirements for new features
  • Design and implement new features
  • Work in a team-based Agile environment
