Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Job summary

Seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to ensure availability, performance, and operational excellence of large-scale distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of SRE, DevOps, or production engineering experience
• Deep experience operating Linux at scale
• Production experience with Kubernetes and container workloads
• Strong knowledge of observability tooling
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of distributed system design
• Experience leading incident response and conducting post-incident reviews

Responsibilities

• Define, instrument, and refine service-level objectives (SLOs), service-level indicators (SLIs), and error budgets
• Lead incident response and resolution for production issues
• Design and implement monitoring, logging, and tracing strategies
• Build and maintain on-call processes, runbooks, and escalation paths
• Automate operational toil by writing production-grade tooling
• Architect and operate large-scale Kubernetes clusters and container workloads
• Design CI/CD pipelines for safe and observable releases
• Lead capacity planning and performance engineering activities
• Partner with application development teams to embed reliability practices
• Strengthen platform resiliency through chaos engineering
• Drive continuous improvement of security posture
• Contribute to technical roadmap for reliability tooling
• Mentor engineers on SRE practices
