Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering
• Proficiency in site reliability culture and principles
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java/Spring Boot, .NET)
• Experience in observability practices and telemetry collection
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform)
• Familiarity with container technologies (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker)
• Familiarity with troubleshooting networking technologies
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development tools
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows

Responsibilities

• Guide and assist in building designs and gaining consensus
• Collaborate to design and implement deployment approaches using CI/CD pipelines
• Design, develop, test, and implement solutions for availability, reliability, and scalability
• Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code
• Partner with stakeholders to resolve complex problems
• Leverage service level indicators to proactively resolve issues
• Support adoption of site reliability engineering best practices
• Use AI coding assist tools to improve code quality and productivity
• Apply knowledge of software development life cycle tools to enhance automation
