Job summary
As a Site Reliability Engineer at MI5, you will design, build, deploy, and maintain critical infrastructure to ensure the reliability and security of cyber activities.

Qualifications
- strong background in building, deploying and maintaining software or infrastructure in production environments
- hands-on experience managing systems through their full lifecycle
- practical experience using Kubernetes to deploy and manage services in production environments
- working knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python
- comfortable working in Linux-based environments
Responsibilities
- design, build, deploy and maintain the infrastructure that enables critical cyber activity
- ensure the systems are secure, reliable and fit for purpose
- develop and manage production environments that support operational activity
- oversee deployments end to end, manage upgrades and changes
- track system health, performance and behaviour using logs and metrics
- investigate root causes and contribute to improvements that strengthen reliability
