Job summary
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will ensure quality is integrated from the start of software development within a DevOps team.
Qualifications
- HBO work and thinking level
- Minimum five years of experience in test automation in a DevOps environment
- Experience with test automation in Playwright with Java
- Experience with CI/CD and Jenkins
- Experience with both API and UI testing
Responsibilities
- Ensure quality is integrated from the start of software development
- Determine the testing approach
- Identify risks early
- Execute the right tests at the right time
- Develop and maintain automated API and UI tests with Playwright and Java
- Act as the first point of contact for complex testing issues
- Ensure quality is addressed throughout the development process
- Continuously improve test automation practices
- Guide less experienced testers
- Assist developers in making quality-conscious decisions
- Contribute to the development of the testing field within DUO
