Job summary
Lun*** is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join their team, focusing on the implementation, development, and management of systems and servers. This role involves working with IT and Security leadership to develop maintenance schedules, design new environments, and support company projects. The successful candidate will contribute to Lun***'s mission in a dynamic startup environment, including supporting the Pegasus LTV project.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or DevOps or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of direct experience in Systems/Network Administration
- 2+ years of general IT experience
- Azure Fundamentals Certification
- Experience managing AWS and ESXI
- Familiarity with NIST Frameworks
- Excellent shell language knowledge
- Adept at writing scripts in Bash, Python, and PowerShell
- Deep sense of accountability for project decisions and actions
- Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- U.S. Person
- Azure Administrator Associate Certification (preferred)
- Experience using Terraform (preferred)
- Experience working in an aerospace or defense environment (preferred)
- Experience with administration support of multi-site networks (preferred)
- Experience with administration support of Windows Servers (preferred)
- Experience with administration support of multi-tenant Office365 (preferred)
- Experience with administration support of Active Directory Hybrid Environments (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Implement, develop, and manage systems and servers across the company
- Work with IT and Security leadership to develop maintenance schedules
- Design new environments
- Support company projects
- Maintain and support system backups
- Communicate technical concepts and workflows effectively
- Support the development and management of ESXI/VMWare environments
- Develop, manage, and support Microsoft Azure environments
- Manage and support SharePoint Online and its integrations
- Support and maintain multi-cluster Kubernetes environments
- Work with security teams to design and implement controls related to company compliance obligations (NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53)
- Support complex multi-domain Okta deployments
- Design and implement Okta Flows as needed
- Work with endpoint team and service desk to support ticket escalations
- Prioritize work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexibility to work after normal business hours and on weekends as needed
