Job summary

Nomad Digital is seeking a Senior System Administrator to join their global Engineering division in Montreal. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining network and server infrastructure while providing mentorship and driving technical excellence within the team.

Qualifications

• RHCE or equivalent experience
• CCNA or equivalent networking experience
• Kubernetes Certified Administrator or equivalent experience
• Microsoft Azure Certified or equivalent experience
• Computer Science degree or similar level of experience

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain global network and server infrastructure
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management
• Configure and manage network security
• Administer and secure Linux-based systems
• Serve as a 3rd line escalation point for complex incidents
• Develop and maintain infrastructure monitoring solutions
• Manage and support containerised applications using Kubernetes
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Collaborate with InfoSec teams for security audits
• Drive continuous improvement and recommend new technologies
