Job summary
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer role is centered on building and maintaining compute, storage, and container platforms across global data centers. Key responsibilities include operating VMware vSphere and NSX, administering Ceph storage, deploying and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters, and developing infrastructure-as-code using Ansible and Terraform to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional experience in infrastructure, systems or platform engineering
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere administration
- Working knowledge of VMware NSX
- Experience administering Ceph storage
- Solid Kubernetes operations experience
- Strong Linux systems administration skills
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools
- Comfortable working with monitoring and observability stacks
- Good written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain VMware vSphere clusters and NSX-based virtual networking across multiple data center sites
- Administer and tune Ceph storage clusters
- Deploy, upgrade and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters
- Contribute to the evaluation and proof-of-concept work for migrating from VMware to an open-source platform
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code for repeatable, auditable deployments
- Monitor infrastructure health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana and alerting pipelines
- Collaborate with the network engineering team on data center connectivity
- Support hardware lifecycle operations
- Write and maintain technical documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation for infrastructure-related incidents
