Senior Devops & Platform Engineer

Job summary

The Senior DevOps Engineer at Stellar Telecommunications will manage deployment pipelines, containerized environments, and the software release lifecycle for the STEER software suite. This role involves hands-on technical execution, focusing on CI/CD, containerization, and collaboration with infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role
• Strong Linux administration skills
• Production experience with Docker
• Hands-on experience with Ansible or equivalent
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Scripting proficiency in Python and Shell
• Experience managing software releases across multiple environments
• Familiarity with private cloud and VPS environments

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
• Own and administer the CI/CD and collaboration platforms
• Manage deployment of STEER software releases across environments
• Manage Docker Swarm cluster for application workloads
• Use Ansible for provisioning and configuration
• Administer guest OS and application layer of production cloud VPS
• Implement and maintain application-level monitoring and logging
• Partner with software engineers and operations teams
