Seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web, API, and distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of QA automation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience automating REST APIs.
• Understanding of testing methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid SQL skills for data validation.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Write maintainable automated test scripts for critical business flows.
• Develop API automation using REST Assured or equivalent frameworks.
• Create and maintain regression, smoke, sanity, and functional test suites.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
• Conduct database validation using SQL queries.
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability and identify defects.
• Support performance testing initiatives.
• Maintain detailed test documentation and defect tracking records.
• Perform root-cause analysis on production issues.
• Ensure automation strategy aligns with DevOps processes.
• Participate in sprint planning and quality-focused retrospectives.
• Continuously improve QA processes and frameworks.
