Job summary
A Berlin-based enterprise AI platform startup is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and maintain their multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of software or platform engineering experience
- Native-level German or minimum B2 German proficiency
- Hands-on experience with platform-level engineering responsibilities
- Experience deploying and operating enterprise platforms
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and GitHub Actions
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis in production environments
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud deployments
- Strong CS fundamentals and ability to uphold platform reliability standards
Responsibilities
- Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment
- Deploy and maintain the platform across multiple cloud environments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools
- Monitor and optimize application performance and infrastructure costs
- Ensure security and compliance standards are upheld
- Collaborate with Product Engineers for new feature rollout
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
- Document deployment processes and maintain runbooks
