Job summary
The Lead, Site Reliability Engineering is responsible for ensuring the stability of systems through monitoring and analysis, while implementing and maintaining necessary infrastructure and tools. This role combines platform engineering, site reliability engineering, and production support to enhance Azure-based developer platforms and internal applications.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related fields.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
- Experience supporting production environments and incident response.
- Experience with container technologies and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts.
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms.
- Understanding of cloud networking concepts.
- Experience with scripting and automation technologies.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support applications and developer platform services across DEV, UAT, and PROD environments.
- Respond to incidents and lead triage activities.
- Support deployments, release activities, change management, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Resolve user and developer access issues, including Azure AD groups and SSO.
- Configure and support platform components such as Azure Container Apps and Key Vault.
- Investigate performance and reliability issues using observability tools.
- Support onboarding of new applications and teams to the DEV platform.
- Develop and maintain runbooks and operational documentation.
- Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance to team members and stakeholders.
