Job summary

Design and operate modern, automated platforms for stable and scalable application operations. Focus on continuous improvement of the DevOps and cloud-native landscape, implementing automated processes, and ensuring efficient application deployment and maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in application management and operation in heterogeneous IT landscapes
  • Ideally experience in insurance or finance sector
  • Solid knowledge in Linux (administration and troubleshooting)
  • CI/CD pipelines (especially GitLab)
  • Container technologies and orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
  • HELM and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Experience with Red Hat Linux (nice to have)
  • Knowledge in Git/version control (nice to have)
  • Experience with Elastic Stack (logging/monitoring) (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with YAML for configuration of deployments and pipelines (nice to have)

Responsibilities

  • Design and operate automated platforms for stable application operations
  • Continuous improvement of DevOps and cloud-native landscape
  • Implement and optimize automated processes, tools, and methods
  • Ensure efficient deployment, monitoring, scaling, and maintenance of applications
  • Build modern CI/CD pipelines for automation of build, test, and deployment processes
  • Operate and develop container-based platforms using Kubernetes/OpenShift
  • Implement GitOps approaches for automated deployments
  • Project-based implementation of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Create and maintain HELM charts for standardized application deployment
  • Analyze systems and processes to identify optimization potential
  • Collaborate closely with development and operations teams for stable production environments
