DevOps Engineer

Job summary

Sardine is seeking a DevOps Engineer to evolve their infrastructure and platform tooling, supporting a growing engineering team. The role involves building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, improving system observability, and optimizing cloud usage, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering roles
• Proficiency in Python or Go
• Proven ownership of production infrastructure and platform tooling
• Experience in designing and implementing secure and robust infrastructure
• Deep experience with Kubernetes and tools like ArgoCD, Helm, and Terraform
• Familiarity with GCP or other major cloud providers
• Hands-on experience with FinOps tooling
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and internal developer tooling
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus or Datadog

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve DevOps and platform engineering function
• Design and maintain secure and scalable CI/CD pipelines
• Improve observability via Datadog, GCP, and custom dashboards
• Implement and maintain FinOps governance
• Enable developer productivity through internal tooling and reusable modules
• Help teams define and measure SLOs
• Serve as a FinOps thought leader
• Collaborate with product engineering, security, finance, and other teams
