Job summary

The Data Platform Engineer at MON*** will build and operate a reliable data platform that supports analytics, CRM, financial reporting, and machine learning.

Qualifications

• Strong software or data engineering fundamentals, including Python and SQL
• Experience with cloud-based systems
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD
• Ability to reason about reliability and security
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Curiosity about AI-assisted engineering and automation

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the data platform
• Contribute to the design and operation of platform infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code, primarily Terraform
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and platform tooling for data teams
• Work with security and compliance teams to enhance data handling practices
• Build robust, scalable data solutions for business needs
• Apply software engineering practices to solve data problems
• Enhance monitoring, alerting, and data quality checks
• Identify and automate high-friction engineering tasks
• Shape team practices for coding agents and tool integrations
• Balance speed with security and maintainability
• Share knowledge through documentation and mentoring
