Qualifications

• Completed training as an IT specialist or comparable IT qualification
• Alternatively, a completed technical degree
• Very good knowledge of Linux systems
• Solid networking knowledge
• Experience with open-source software and DevOps solutions
• Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies
• Experience with automation solutions, ideally Ansible
• Practical experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Basic knowledge of Python or another scripting language
• Experience in project management or motivation to develop in this area
• Enthusiasm for IT security and a structured, solution-oriented work style
• Team spirit, initiative, and willingness to take responsibility
• Fluent German language skills, good English skills are desirable

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, maintain, and scale private OpenStack cloud
• Design and operate infrastructure-related services in DevOps environment
• Collaborate with development teams to gather and implement requirements
• Manage and coordinate cross-functional projects
• Advise, train, and support users, including troubleshooting
• Integrate systems into central IT processes, such as documentation, monitoring, and backup
• Identify, optimize, and automate recurring tasks and processes
• Actively shape new topics and technologies in cloud and infrastructure
• Facilitate knowledge transfer within technical areas
