Job summary

Zio*** is seeking a Cloud Engineer to establish Google Cloud foundations and onboard native cloud services.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud engineering with a background in architecting cloud environments.
• Understanding of cloud architecture, services, and security with successful implementations.
• Expert-level understanding of Terraform and related automation tools.
• Demonstrated leadership in technical initiatives and mentoring.
• Experience in DevSecOps, zero-touch automation, and CI/CD Pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud networking, security principles, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong programming skills for automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize cloud environments for reliability, scalability, and security.
• Define and implement platform enablement strategies and automation frameworks.
• Establish and enforce cloud governance and compliance standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Lead resolution of complex platform issues and long-term remediation.
• Align cloud platform capabilities with business goals through collaboration.
• Build and manage a platform for engineering teams to deploy applications efficiently.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive adoption of cloud engineering best practices.
• Develop onboarding materials and technical documentation for platform users.
