Azure Cloud Engineer

Job summary

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and operate cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, collaborating with architects, developers, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure in engineering or operations roles
• Good understanding of cloud concepts, virtual networking, identity, and security
• Experience with automation and scripting
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and version-controlled deployments
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and operational best practices
• Willingness to learn and grow in cloud responsibilities
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment
• Fluency in German and English

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate Azure cloud solutions including compute, networking, storage, and platform services
• Support the setup and evolution of Azure landing zones and cloud foundations
• Provision and configure Azure resources using Infrastructure as Code
• Support application deployments and integrations across Azure services
• Build CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains
• Support cloud security and identity concepts
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues
• Work closely with solution architects to implement designs and standards
• Contribute to documentation and operational handover
