Job summary
As an Automation Engineer, you will develop, program, and maintain machines throughout their life cycle, focusing on automation for high-quality food products.
Qualifications
- Completed degree (Bachelor, Diploma, or Master) in Automation
- Several years of experience in project planning and commissioning of Siemens and Rockwell controls including safety technology and unit tests in Digital Twin
- Experience in process automation for efficient project development
- Proficient in Profinet, Profisafe, Ethernet, CIP Safety, IO-Link, visualization, and drive technology
- Good German and English skills
- Additional language skills are an advantage
Responsibilities
- Program machine controls with Siemens and Rockwell
- Implement risk analysis results in safety software
- Perform programming, verification, and validation according to DIN EN ISO 13849 for PLr a to e
- Review electrical schematics and collaborate on design documents and functional descriptions
- Manage software versioning and release process
- Occasionally support on-site and remote
