AI Application & Cloud Operations Engineer (Mid level)

Job summary

The AI Application & Cloud Operations Engineer is responsible for ensuring the operation, stability, performance, and security of enterprise AI applications on a Cloud Platform and AWS Bedrock. This role involves managing Linux servers, Docker containers, and databases, while supporting Python-based applications and AWS services, and performing incident response and automation scripting.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of experience in application, system, or cloud operations.
• Strong experience with Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) administration.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience with Flask/FastAPI applications and Docker.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.
• Experience with AWS services, especially AWS Bedrock.
• Understanding of REST APIs and networking.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor enterprise AI applications.
• Manage Linux servers, Docker containers, and NGINX.
• Support and troubleshoot Python-based applications and APIs.
• Manage and monitor MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Meilisearch.
• Support integration with AWS Bedrock and external AI services.
• Manage Cloud Platform VMs running RHEL and Ubuntu.
• Support secure network connectivity using IPsec VPN and AWS PrivateLink.
• Monitor system health and application performance.
• Support file storage and firewall rules.
• Develop Python and Bash automation scripts.
• Support CI/CD deployment processes.
• Perform incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation.
