Job summary

Head of Engineering & DevOps responsible for building and leading the engineering organization, focusing on enterprise architecture, technical platforms, and team development.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in software development, including a relevant part in a leadership role.
• Experience in building and leading engineering teams.
• Experience with scalable enterprise architectures and platforms in cloud and container environments.
• Deep understanding of security by design, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
• Knowledge of AI and data engineering, data security, and compliance requirements.
• Fluent in German and English; experience in tax or consulting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the new engineering organization.
• Develop enterprise architecture and technical platform focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Define tech stack and engineering standards.
• Ensure quality, delivery speed, and SLAs of the platform.
• Provide technical foundation as reusable platform services.
• Build AI and data engineering capabilities.
• Form and develop a strong team through coaching and mentoring.
