Job summary
Fitch Group is seeking a Service Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability of Fitch Ratings services, focusing on AI development and cloud technologies.
Qualifications
- deep, hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering across AWS and Azure
- highly proficient in administering both Linux and Windows
- experience supporting IIS/.NET applications and Java Spring Boot services
- built and maintained CI/CD pipelines primarily with GitHub Actions
- experience with cloud security best practices
- understand core infrastructure fundamentals
Responsibilities
- lead the delivery of reliable, scalable, mission-critical services
- guide squads on Kubernetes and modern deployment patterns
- mentor associate engineers and set best practices
- partner with Fitch Ratings Development Squads and Operations
- own observability in Datadog—define SLIs/SLOs, dashboards, alerting
- champion AI-enabled operations using AWS Bedrock/SageMaker
- define and enforce cloud guardrails and security controls
- influence cross-functional roadmaps and lead complex release planning
